Celebrating the Life of Les Reynolds, Founder of Old Lyme Affordable Housing Corp.

A Letter from Kay Reynolds and Pam Knecht, daughters.

Dear Friends and Family of Les Reynolds,

We wanted to share that our Dad, Les Reynolds, passed away peacefully on November 20th with family members by his side.

We are having a “Celebration of Life” service on Saturday, January 12th at 2:00 pm at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme, CT. A reception at the church will follow immediately after the service so family and friends can informally gather together, sharing stories and memories of Dad with each other and with us.

As you will see in Dad's obituary we have selected HOPE Partnership for donations, in lieu of flowers at his service. Dad made a significant impact as founder of the Old Lyme Affordable Housing Authority, which a few years ago was rolled into HOPE Partnership. The mission of HOPE Partnership is “to create a continuum of affordable housing options in the shoreline towns of Middlesex County, CT to ensure an eclectic economy and housing choices for all.” Dad would be thrilled to know that his work on affordable housing will continue to be positively impacted with donations made in his honor.

We hope to see many of you at his service, but certainly understand that will not be possible for everyone. We are thankful for the special place each of you hold in your hearts for Dad, and Mom – they are together again…. With love, Kay and Pam
