Come Celebrate Ferry Crossing!
This year, HOPE Partnership has much to celebrate with the completion of Ferry Crossing, its first affordable workforce housing development. On Wednesday, June 13th, a celebration of the partnerships and rich community spirit that made Ferry Crossing a reality, will be the focus of HOPE’s 2012 fundraiser.
The Ferry Crossing Celebration Fundraiser will be a casual event set in a tent alongside the Ferry Crossing homes. Guests will enjoy an early summer evening of live music, wine, beer and gourmet wood fired pizza made right on the back of an antique 1940’s International Harvesters KB-5 truck. All will delight in The Big Green Truck as the wooden side panels turn into serving tables and chefs fire up its wood fired pizza oven. VIP Sneak Peek tours of Ferry Crossing will be available for guests. This will be a unique opportunity for the community to view the homes before they are occupied.
The ticket price for the event is $50 per person. Sponsorship dollars make it possible for the HOPE to reach its fundraising goal of $15,000 without resorting to a silent or live auction. This leaves lots of time for guests to enjoy the company of friends, delicious pizza while admiring Ferry Crossing’s New England architectural style. We are anticipating attendance at the event to be at least 125 guests from the shoreline and CT River Valley communities.
